The Artisan

Greetings, I’m Matt Dawson, a Blacksmith and ABS (American Bladesmith Society) Apprentice Bladesmith working toward my Journeyman rating. I’m an outdoorsman - a life-long camper, bushcraft and wilderness survival enthusiast. I’m also a proficient cook, martial artist, and a scout leader. A proud graduate of SVA (School of Visual Arts), I enjoy Illustration, animation & fantasy art. When not swinging the hammer or in the woods, I love spending time with my family & friends, a good craft beer, and RPG games. All of this influences my Blacksmith craft. I tend to create things I find both practical and beautiful.
